![]() ![]() Google Drive is always a great option for collaborative work, and Dropbox can give you a common storage place for any PDFs, scans of your textbooks, and other document types that may not translate easily into Google programs. You’ll also likely need to share documents-notes, outlines, etc., and how you do that depends on what works best for you. But, if you’d like to see your fellow study group members’ faces, Zoom has been getting a ton of buzz as one of the go-to video conference services during this crisis. This is what my book club uses now, and we’ve found that it’s a relatively streamlined way to get us all on the same page. While Discord is perhaps most popular among gamers as a way to chat while playing, it’s a really great general-use voice-chat program. For discussing readings and other chat-based study sessions, I’d recommend Discord. Study sessions are international youth events lasting between 4 and 8 days which bring together members of youth organisations or networks and experts for discussions on a specific subject leading to conclusions relevant to the priorities and programmes of the Council of Europe Youth sector. These activities - of which the most visible are the study sessions – are based on co-operation between the partner organisations and the Council of Europe’s Youth Department. The study sessions, symposia and other similar activities reflect the principles of co-management and partnership with young people and their organisations that are at the heart of the youth policy of the Council of Europe.
